Abbeville Police looking for two shooting suspects

Abbeville Police are actively looking for two suspects involved in a weekend shooting.
Police responded Saturday at approximately 10:30 p.m. to a complaint of a shooting near the corner of Chauvin Street and Oscar Street off Charity Street.
“Two gun-shot victims were found,” Abbeville Police Lt. David Hardy said.
One of the victims sustained two wounds in the hip area. The other victim was shot once. Paramedics transported the victims to hospitals in Lafayette, where they were treated for non-life-threatening injuries. The two male victims, both in their early 20s, were sitting in a vehicle when the shots were fired.
Video from a nearby surveillance system captured one of the suspects.
“One of the suspects can be seen pretty clearly on the video,” Hardy said.
Anyone with information on the case can contact the Abbeville Police Department at 893-2511.
