Hazel R. Trahan

ABBEVILLE – A Mass of Christian Burial for Hazel R. Trahan will be held 11:00 A.M. Saturday, November 28, 2015 at St. Martin De Porres Catholic Church in Delcambre, La and will await the resurrection in Our Lady of the Lake Cemetery. Father Nathan Comeaux will be the Celebrant.
Mrs. Hazel Trahan (96), a long time resident of Delcambre, LA passed away Wednesday, November 18, 2015 at Abbeville General Hospital.
She leaves to mourn her passing, four sons, Walter Trahan, I (Dorothy) of New Iberia, LA; Aaron Trahan (Rose) of Delcambre, LA; Allen Trahan (Sheryl) of Erath, LA; and Orien Trahan (Gloria) of Lafayette, LA; two daughters, Raveline Montgomery (Herman) and Mary G. Mouton (Stanley) of Delcambre, LA; two sisters, Marian Peters of Beaumont, TX and Mary Lou Jean-Louis of New Iberia, LA; twenty three Grandchildren, thirty six Great-Grandchildren, twenty Great-Great-Grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by both parents, Walter Segura and Leah Boyance, her husband, Dewey Trahan, a son, Melvin Trahan, a daughter, Mary Montgomery, a granddaughter, Nancy Alpho, one brother and three sisters.
Visitation will take place at St Marin De Porres Catholic Church Saturday, November 28, 2015 from 8:00 A.M. until time of service.
