ABBEVILLE – A Mass of Christian Burial for Demetria Lynn Joiner is scheduled for 2:00 P.M. Friday, June 3, 2016 at St. Theresa Catholic Church with burial in St. Paul Cemetery. Father Greg Cormier will be the Celebrant.
Demetria Joiner, 46, a resident of Abbeville, passed away Saturday, May 28, 2016 at her residence surrounded by her loving family.
She leaves to mourn her passing her husband, Travis Harrison and three children, Dillon Joiner, Lorenzo Joiner, and Travelle Joiner all of Abbeville, LA; her mother, Mary Marie Bessard Joiner of Abbeville, LA; three siblings, Brent L. Joiner, Shanna Joiner, and Korey Joiner, all of Abbeville, LA; three Grandchildren, Deshawn Joiner, Jamare Diggs, and J’rylon Godfrey and a host of Nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her father, Lloyd E. Joiner, an aunt, several uncles, grandmothers, Beatrice Bessard Young and Mary Louise Joiner; grandfathers, Lloyd Joiner, Sr. and Alvin Hoffpauir, Sr.
Visitation is scheduled for Friday, June 3, 2016 at Kinchen Funeral Home – 218 N. St. Valerie Street (337) 898-9595 from 11:00 A.M. – 1:40 P.M.
