Joseph Oran Duhon, Jr

ABBEVILLE — Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 28, 2015 at Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville honoring the life of Joseph Oran Duhon, Jr, 58, who died Sunday, October 25, 2015 at his residence.
He will be laid to rest at Landry Cemetery with Deacon Tim Marcantel officiating the services. Pallbearers will be Clarence Duhon, Barry Delahoussaye, Louis Marceaux, Vincent Alexis, Edward Duhon, Jr., and Davis Miguez.
He is survived by his longtime friend and companion, Betty Doucet Landry; two sisters, Lenora Duhon Stelly and Suzette Duhon Bonin; five nieces and nephews, Damien Stelly, Gena Stelly, Michelle LaBauve Delahoussaye, Angella Bonin and Annette Soirez; and five great nieces and nephews, Alana Stelly, Alexis Stelly, Abby Stelly, Kayden Delahoussaye and Karson Delahoussaye.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph Oran Duhon and the former Virmae Soirez; paternal grandparents, Clenest Duhon and the former Rosella Cabrol; maternal grandparents, Jesus Soirez and the former Annie Landry; brother, Josey Soirez and godfather, Edward Duhon,Sr.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville, 209 S. St. Charles Street, on Wednesday, October 28, 2015 from 9:00 a.m. until time of service.
