Teen found safe

Update: teen has been located and is safe. Vermilion Parish Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s assistance in locating a runaway juvenile.
Sheriff Mike Couvillon says that Shaina Crochet, 15, of Abbeville, who also goes by the last name of Primeaux, was reported as a runaway Tuesday night at approximately 10:30 p.m.
Shaina is described as a white female, 4’11”, weighing 110 pounds, with brown shoulder-length hair. She was last seen wearing a black v-neck shirt, black shorts and white converse shoes.
Shaina has been entered into State and National Database as a runaway juvenile and Detectives have reason to believe that she may have been seen in the Abbeville area near Wal-Mart sometime during the early morning hours.
