KAPLAN—Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, July 4, 2015 at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan honoring the life of Mariah Dawn Marceaux, 18, who died Wednesday, July 1, 2015. She will be laid to rest at Harrington Cemetery with Reverend Keith Landry officiating the services.
She is survived by her father, R.P Marceaux and his wife, Linda of Forked Island; mother, Tina and her husband, Brad Menard of Lafayette; four sisters, Felicia Cummings of Lafayette, Melindy Daspit of St. Martinville, Shelly Daspit of Houston, Texas, Emily Daspit of St. Martinville; one brother, Justin Emanuel Marceaux of Forked Island; one step-brother, Dylan Callahan of Forked Island; and paternal grandparents, Leroy Marceaux and his wife, Delana Marceaux of Forked Island.
She was preceded in death by maternal grandparents, Watson Chighizola and his wife Pauline; and paternal great-grandmother, Learna Richard.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Avenue, on Friday, July 3, 2015 from 11 a.m. until 10 p.m. with a rosary being prayed at 7 p.m.; Saturday, July 04, from 8 a.m. until services.
