Samuel James Bourque

NEW IBERIA – Funeral Services were conducted for Samuel James Bourque, 2 months old, at 5:00 pm on Monday, June 22, 2015 at Evangeline Funeral Home. Brother Wayne Landry officiated the service.
Samuel was born on April 16, 2015 in Lafayette, LA and passed away on Wednesday, June 17, 2015.
He is survived by his mother, Courtney Hotard and her life partner, Shelly Boudreaux; father, Aaron Bourque; and his twin sister, Monique Rene’ Bourque all of New Iberia. He is also survived by his maternal grandparents, Rene’ Briggs and husband Chris Briggs of Abbebille; Mark Hotard and wife Jennifer of New Iberia; Connie Boudreaux of New Iberia and Daniel Boudreaux of Lydia; paternal grandmother, Marcy Bourque of Kaplan; two aunts, Sarina Bourque of Kaplan and Kristy Boudreaux of Youngsville and four uncles, Cory Hotard, Darien Hotard both of New Iberia; Wayne Bourque of Kaplan and Sedrick Bourque of Carencro.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Wayne Bourque; maternal grandmother, Deborah Cheatham; maternal grandfather, Larry McQueen; paternal grandfather, Joseph Louviere and Betty Landry; and grandparents, Alta Boudreaux and Roy Boudreaux.
