ABBEVILLE — A Home-Going Celebration will be held for Mr. Rudolph V. Johnson 84 at 2:00 p.m. Saturday June 20, 2015 at Fletcher Funeral Home, Abbeville La with Rev. E. J. Guidry officiating.
He will await the resurrection at Greater Pleasant Green Baptist Church Cemetery, Abbeville, LA
A gathering of family and friends will begin at 10:00 A.M. Saturday until time of funeral service.
A native and resident of Abbeville, LA he passed at 11:58 P.M. Monday at Heart Hospital of Lafayette, LA.
He leaves to cherish his memory, a loving wife, Jeanette Benoit Johnson of Abbeville, LA., two sisters, Barbara Daniels of Richmond, and Inez Davidson of Matthew VA; a special daughter Denise Boudreaux of Abbeville, LA, a special son Anthony Washington of Abbeville, LA, a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Willie Johnson and Nancy Johnson, one sister, Lula Johnson and one brother, William Johnson.
