KAPLAN—Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 24, 2015 at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan honoring the life of Marie Elaine Stelly, 67, who died Saturday, March 21, 2015 at Abbeville General Hospital. She will be laid to rest at Kaplan Cemetery with Reverend Matthew Barzare officiating the services.
She is survived by her husband of 45 years, Raymond Stelly of Kaplan; one son, Jason Abshire and his wife, Tammy of Forked Island; one step-son, Kenneth Stelly and his wife, Rachel of Kaplan; one step-daughter, Laraina and her husband, Glenn Venable of Forked Island; one step-brother, Jay Suire of Forked Island; seven grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Anderson Foster and the former Gladys Leonard; and two brothers, Bobby Foster and Marshal Suire.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Avenue, on Monday, March 23, 2015 from 11 a.m. until 10 p.m. with a rosary being prayed at 7 p.m.; Tuesday, March 24, 2015 from 8 a.m. until services.
