Vermilion Parish School Board employee gets stuck in elevator

A school board employee was happy to see a group of firemen Thursday afternoon in the Central Office of the School Board . The firemen were there to try and open the door of the elevator on the first floor of Central Office. The employee found its self stuck in the elevator for about 15 minutes. The person had planned to go to the third floor, but the elevator never made it to the second floor. It stopped a few feet above the first floor. The firemen got a key to unlock the doors and then the employee climbed down out of the elevator. This was the second time the elevator got stuck in the last 30 days.
