Honda Accord crashes into single-lane bridge; driver takes off

The Abbeville Police Department arrived at a single car accident on Oak Street only to find the driver of the black Honda Accord missing.
A female, wearing blue jeans, drove her car into the railings of a single lane bridge on Vermilion Street. The car just missed crashing into the coulee. When the police ran the license plate number, it did not match the vehicle.
No registration was found in the vehicle. The police did find the driver down the road
