Kayla Leblanc and Ross Landry united in holy matrimony

Miss Kayla Leblanc of Henry, La., and Mr. Ross Landry of Abbeville, became man and wife during a ceremony held on November 1, 2004 at St. John Catholic Church in Henry, La.
Father Manny Fernandez officiated the 6:30 p.m. wedding.
Parents of the bride are Tracy and Janeen Leblanc of Henry, La. Grandparents are Larry and Nola LeBlanc of Henry, La. and Bradley and Barbara Mergist of Erath, La.
The groom’s parents are Tim and Tammy Landry of Abbeville, La. Grandparents are the late Jimmy and Sabul Landry of Lafayette, La., and Dola Richard and the late Ivy Richard of Intracoastal City, La.
Music for the ceremony was provided by Lauren and Paul Baker.
Readings were done by Patrick Landry, godfather of the groom; Renee Marx, godmother to the bride; and Errol Leblanc, godfather of the bride.
Ushers were Josh Broussard and Kyle Babin, friends of the groom.
The mother of the bride was escorted by her son, Brody LeBlanc.
The mother of the groom was escorted by her husband.
Escorted by her father, the bride wore and ivory, all lace gown featuring a soft mermaid silhouette and off the shoulder lace bolero with a fingertip length veil trimmed in lace.
The bride carried an elegant composure of baby’s breath with chablis spray roses delicately placed throughout with the stem wrapped in lace from her mother’s wedding dress.
Gabrielle Mergist, aunt of the bride, was the maid of honor. Matron of honor was Lauren Morel, friend of the bride. Bridesmaids include Katie Landry, sister of the groom; Dori Cormier, friend of the bride; Kristen Gilbert, sister-in-law of the bride; Katelyn Marx, cousin of the bride; and Halle Theall, friend of the bride. The flower girl was Caroline Fitch.
The attendants wore floor length blush gown and carried baby’s breath bouquets.
Andre Landry, brother of the groom, served as best man. Groomsmen included Broc Prejean, Marcus Davidson, and Corey Meaux, all friends of the groom; Tyler Choate, friend of the bride and groom; Brody LeBlanc, bride’s brother; Phillip Legere and Seth Lemaire, both friends of the groom. Ring bearer was Bryant Vincent, cousin of the groom.
Following the ceremony, a reception was held at St. Theresa Holy Family Center in Abbeville.
After their return from a wedding trip to Disney World, the couple will reside in Lafayette.
