7th Ward firemen put out boat fire in Intracoastal City

The 7th Ward Vol. Fire Department responded to a boat fire in Intracoastal City Friday afternoon. Firefighters arrived on scene to find the cab of the 52’ shrimp boat engulfed in flames. Welding being preformed on the vessel is believed to have caused the fire. No one was injured. The 7th Ward Vol. Fire Dept. was assisted by the District 13, Meaux / Nunez, and Abbeville Fire Departments.
