A golden anniversary!

Mr. & Mrs. Daniel Desormeaux of Maurice, celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on September 12, 2014.
Mrs. Desormeaux is the former Claudine Landry.
The couple was married at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church in Leroy on September 12, 1964. They marked their special day on September 13th at Holy Cross Church in Lafayette as Father Howard Blessing gave them a marriage blessing during the 4 p.m. mass surrounded by family and friends.
After the blessing, the couple’s children, Phyllis (Guy), Darin (Shelly) and Janese (Troy) and grandchildren, Kaleb, Brock,Ty, Tanner, Mallory, Landon and Brandt honored them with dinner and gifts at Don’s Seafood Downtown Lafayette.
