Woman's Club ends year with spring social

The 2013-1014 club year, spent studying Members' Favorite Authors and Books, culminated in a spring luncheon at Copeland's Restaurant in Lafayette.

Officers for the 2014-2016 term were installed by Club President, Marleen Thompson. New members and those who were members for five, ten and twenty-five years were awarded General Federation of Women's Clubs lapel pins.

Special Honorees were those who had been members longer than twenty -five years.

New member pins were given to Liz Gremillion, Lauren Daspit, Linda Woodruff, and Meg Hebert. Five year pins were given to Catherine Ellison, Mary Watkins, Marleen Thompson, Cindy Campisi, Brenda Landry, Sondra Corcoran, Jane Barras, Tasha Leger, Catherine Primeaux, Peggy Hebert and Elaine Dill.

Those given ten year pins were Dixie Mayard, Susan DesOrmeaux, Rose Hagood, Dana Bourque, Betty Fuller, Anne Blanchet and Barbara Hebert. A twenty-five year pin was awarded to Linda Weill.
