Vermilion Parish's Eaton Park, Seventh Ward have new principals

Vermilion Parish Superintendent Jerome Puyau filled the final two principal vacancies this week.
He named Lola Thomas as the principal at Eaton Park Elementary. She was the assistant principal at the school.
The new principal at Seventh Ward Elementary will be Natalie Hebert, the assistant principal at Dozier Elementary in Erath.
Thomas has been the assistant principal at Eaton Park for two years under then principal Wendy Stoute. She is replacing Stoute, who is going on a leave of absence.
Thomas is a former kindergarten teacher and she received her Masters of Educational Leadership from UL in 2010.
Hebert leaves Dozier Elementary after being the assistant principal at Dozier for four years.
She is replacing Priscilla Cormier, who is retiring.
Hebert is a former fourth grade teacher at Eaton Park Elementary and she taught science at Erath Middle School.
Wednesday or Thursday, Puyau is expected to release the names of six new assistant principals in the parish.
