Boutte arrested for possession of crack cocaine, marijuana and paraphernalia

A Kaplan woman was among those arrested for drug related offenses due to undercover operations conducted within the parish.
According to Sheriff Mike Couvillon and Chief Tony Hardy, the Vermilion / Municipal Task Force recently made several arrests. They include
•Crystal Boutte (dob 1-20-90) of Kaplan, arrested and charged with possession of crack cocaine, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, and possession of a controlled dangerous substance in the presence of a juvenile
•Thomas Poage II (dob 10-18-91) of Abbeville, arrested and charged with operation of a clandestine lab. After responding to a call, Abbeville Police Department patrol division came upon a suspected clandestine lab. Upon contacting the Task force agents were able to seize several items utilized in the manufacturing of the drug, along with precursors to the drug. Detainers by probation and parole were also placed on Poage for violation of probation.
•Ethan Dozier (dob 4-17-93) of Abbeville, arrested and charged with possession of synthetic marijuana 2nd offense. Detainers by probation and parole were also placed on Dozier for violation of probation.
•Nyles Phillips (dob 10-28-88) of Abbeville, arrested and charged with possession of synthetic marijuana
•Malcolm Ardoin (dob 1-18-95) of Abbeville, arrested and charged with possession of marijuana.
