Hazel M. Captville
A Home-Going Celebration will be held for Hazel M. Captville, 59, at 1:00 P.M. Saturday, January 18, 2014, at Rose Hill Baptist Church in Abbeville LA, with Pastor Michael C. Wright, officiating.
She will await the resurrection at Saint Paul Cemetery, Abbeville, LA
A gathering of family and friends will begin at 10:00 A.M. Saturday at the church until time of funeral services.
A native and resident of Abbeville, LA. and recent resident of Ruston, La. She passed at 4:10 A.M. Friday, January 10, 2014 at Northern Louisiana Medical Center in Ruston, LA.
She was a faithful member of Rose Hill Baptist Church where she served as secretary, youth director, senior choir member and a member of the Mission Department. In addition she was employed by the Vermilion Parish Police Jury as an Accounts Payable Clerk for twenty three and a half years.
She leaves to cherish her memories, a loving daughter, Vanessa S. Watson (Arnold) of Franklin, LA, two adopted sons, Enrick Maze (Sharon) and Deret Maze (Virginia) both of Abbeville, LA, one brother, Bishop Raymond Captville (Jenniver) of Baton Rouge, LA, four grandchildren, Aleah, Briana, Caili, and Vakale Maze, one uncle Bethel Captville, Sr. (Velma) of Baton Rouge, LA, four aunts, Ada Bessard, Verdner Reedom, and Lucille Williams (Norman, Sr.) all of Abbeville, LA, and Beatrice Thomas of New Iberia, LA, four godchildren, Ray Allen Captville, Jr., Renard Davis, Sr., Jamarcus Captville, and Diamond.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Nathan Captville, and Alice L. Captville, two brothers, Ray Allen Captville Sr. and Amon Captville.
Active pallbearers will be Enrick Maze, Deret Maze, Jerome Bessard, Anthony Bessard, Carl Ledoux, and Kevin Captville.
