Wayne Allen Clark

GUEYDAN - Funeral services for Wayne Allen Clark, 70 of Morse were held at Matthews and Son Funeral Home in Gueydan, on Thursday, January 9, 2014 at 9 a.m. with Father Corey Campeaux officiating. Visitation were held at the funeral home beginning on Wednesday, January 8 from 4:30 p.m. – 9 p.m. A rosary was recited at 7 p.m. Visitation resumed Thursday at 7:30 a.m. until the time of his service. Wayne was laid to rest in the Gueydan Cemetery.
Wayne Allen was born on January 24, 1943 in Gueydan to the late Emery Clark and the late Olympe Monceaux Clark and was called to his Heavenly father on Tuesday, January 7, 2014 at the Crowley American Legion Hospital. Wayne was best known for his many years of extensive involvement with the Morse Little League. He was a very avid sports fan. Wayne loved his LSU, Midland Rebels, Yankees and Boston Celtics.
Wayne is survived by one son, Tony Clark (Vikki) of Crowley; one daughter, Lisa Miniex (Willie) of Houston; one brother, Alday Clark of Kaplan; and eight beautiful grandchildren, Tyler, Broc, Taylor, Tony, Grant, Whitney, Mary and Gabriel; also, six precious great grandchildren.
Wayne is preceded in death by his beloved family, his parents, Emery and Olympe Clark; five brothers and one sister;
Carrying Wayne to his eternal resting place were Tyler Clark, Broc Clark, Taylor Clark, Tony Clark, Grant Clark and Gabriel Miniex.
