Abbeville—Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, January 4, 2014 at Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville honoring the life of Kim Kell Shelvin, 32, who died Monday, December 30, 2013 at her residence.
She will be laid to rest at St. Paul Cemetery with Deacon Joe Hebert officiating the services. Pallbearers will be Desmond Sandifier, Broderic Fletcher, Felix Frederick, Bretlan Shelvin, Lawrence Fletcher and Byron Moses, Sr.
She is survived by her son, Daylon Shelvin of Lafayette; sister, Kizzy Shelvin Freddie and her husband Felix of Crowley; grandmother, Gladys Coleman; grandfather, Lawrence Shelvin, Sr.; fiance, Desmond Sandifier; two nieces, Kendal Shelvin and Tyla Shelvin; nephew, Tyrone Shelvin; and a host of aunts, uncles and friends.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Catherine Dorothy Shelvin; father, Henry Coleman, Jr.; maternal grandmother, Marjorie Toon; paternal grandfather, Harry Coleman, Sr.; and uncle, Lawrence Shelvin, Jr.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville, 209 S. St. Charles Street, on Saturday, January 4, 2014 from 9:00 a.m. until time of services. A rosary will be prayed at 10:30 a.m.
