Clarence Lege

GUEYDAN - Funeral services were held Tuesday, December 17, 2013 at a 9:30 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Peter the Apostle Roman Catholic Church honoring the life of Clarence Lege, 100, who died Sunday, December 15, at his residence. He was laid to rest at Gueydan Cemetery. Reverend Corey Campeaux officiated the services.
He is survived by his son, Clarence P. Lege Jr. and his wife, Vivian of Gueydan; daughter-in-law, Marie Lege of Gueydan; sister, Ida Bertrand of Crowley; five grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren; and eleven great-great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Mae Etta H. Lege; one son, Robert L. Lege; and great grandson, Dwayne Stout.
Visiting hours were observed at Vincent Funeral Home of Gueydan, on Monday, December 16, from 11 a.m. until the procession departed for the church services. A rosary was prayed at 7 p.m. Monday evening.
All funeral arrangements were conducted by Vincent Funeral Home of Gueydan.
