Carl Bob Smith

GUEYDAN - Funeral services were held at 1:30 p.m., Tuesday, December 17, 2013 at Vincent Funeral Home of Gueydan honoring the life of Carl Bob Smith, 60, who died Saturday, December 14, at the Crowley American Legion Hospital. He was laid to rest at Gueydan Cemetery. Reverend Corey Campeaux officiated the services.
He is survived by one son, Skippy Smith and his wife, Megan of Esterwood; one daughter, Nichole S. and her husband, Dave Jordan of Milton, FL; one sister, JoAnn and her husband, Jerald Trahan of Gueydan; one brother, Francis Smith of Gueydan; six grandchildren; and seven step-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Andrew (Andy) Smith Sr. and the former Hilda Rose LaPointe; one son, Heith Smith; one brother, Andrew (Andy) Smith Jr.; and one nephew, William Patrick James.
Visiting hours were observed at Vincent Funeral Home of Gueydan, on Monday, December 16, from 9 a.m. until services on Tuesday. A rosary was prayed at 7 Monday evening.
All funeral arrangements were conducted by Vincent Funeral Home of Gueydan.
