Lady Pats season comes to an end

It is said that all good things must come to an end, and unfortunately for the North Vermilion Lady Patriots volleyball team, their playoff run is over.

The Lady Pats lost in straight sets 25-12, 25-10 and 25-12

Despite losing to Iota for the third time this season, it has been a good year for the Lady Patriots.

They reached the highest ranking in the power rankings in school history.

It was also the first year they hosted and won a playoff game

Coach LeBlanc has mentioned that she is excited about the future of the volleyball program, citing the incredible jumps in both performance on the court and the interest that is building off of the court.

The program has garnered more and more attention, the better the Lady Pats have done on the court.

In the six years the volley program has been around, it has steadily moved up the rankings every year.

When it first started it was ranked 41st out of 42 schools and now this past season it finished the year at 12th.

If the program continues to grow at the rate it has over the past six years, the sky is the limit.

So, the Lady Pats are upset that their season is over and the seniors are sad that it had to end that way, but they have left the program in a much better situation than when they found it, and that is something that they can be proud of.
