Giant Omelette Celebration big success in Abbeville

This Sunday the weather was perfect, and there were many peoople who came to watch the cooking of 5,029 eggs for the 29th Annual Giant Omelette Celebration.

A couple of thousands  of  people lined Concord Street as members of the Omelette Celebration prepared and cooked the eggs. 

After they were cooked, they were handed out to the thousands of people who lined the sidewalks waiting for their eggs, which had crawfish.
