Henry "Hank" Eugene Eleazar III

Hank, 45, was born in Oceanside, CA and raised in Abbeville, graduating from Vermilion Catholic High School in 1986.
He was a graphic artist by trade and a talented illustrator and writer known for his sharp wit and intelligence. His close friends and family members will remember rousing and opinionated debates about politics, horror movies, books, and music, while others will treasure his art, often in the form of quickly sketched comics on napkins and scraps of paper.
Hank, 45, passed away at his residence on Tuesday, Oct. 22, 2013. He is survived by his two sisters, Anne Eleazar and Mary Eleazar; nephews Jackson Gates and Charles Gates of Abbeville; his brother-in-law and best friend, Rick Gates of Lafayette; many dear cousins and beloved aunts and uncles.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry E. Eleazar, II and Gloria Pere' Eleazar; paternal grandfather Henry E. Eleazar, I and grandmother Florence Broussard Eleazar Bordelon; maternal grandfather J. M. "Dick" Pere' and grandmother Lucille Greene Pere'.
As per Hank's wishes, there will be no public services.
