Abshire, Guillot announce engagement

Dennis and Denise Abshire of Crowley are proud to announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Lindsay Denise Abshire of Baton Rouge, to Thaddius James Guillot “T.J.”, also of Baton Rouge. The couple will exchange wedding vows during a 4 p.m. sunset ceremony to take place at Rip Van Winkle Gardens in New Iberia on Saturday, November 29, 2008. Pastor David Baudoin will officiate.

The future bride is the granddaughter of Hazel Villejoin and the late Ivan Villejoin and the late Mr. and Mrs. Darwood Abshire.

Lindsay is a 2003 graduate of Notre Dame High School and a 2008 graduate of Louisiana State University earning a degree in Mass Communications and majoring in Public Relations. She is currently employed with Angel Prints Ultrasound in Baton Rouge as a public relations and office manager.

The groom-elect is the son of Reece and Judy Guillot of Crowley. He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Cleveland Guillot and Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Dill.

T.J. is a 2001 graduate of Notre Dame High School and a 2006 graduate of Louisiana State University. He is currently employed with Louisiana Media Services in Baton Rouge as a film editor.

Following the wedding the couple will reside in Baton Rouge.
