Eve Lemaire

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m Tuesday, June 3, 2008 at St. Theresa Catholic Church honoring the life of Eve Duplantis LeMaire, 105, of Erath, who died Friday, May 30, 2008 at Heritage Manor Nursing Home in Abbeville.

Burial will be in St. Paul Cemetery.

She is survived by two sons, Norris LeMaire of Erath and Richard K. LeMaire and wife Saide of Little Rock, Arkansas; two daughters, Hazel L. Decuir of Erath and Mary Ann Schexnyder and husband Howard of Kaplan; 21 grandchildren, 36 great grandchildren and 31 great-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband Noah LeMaire; father, Nelson Duplantis; mother, Avelia Frederick Duplantis; son, Hubert LeMaire, and numerous brothers and sisters.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed Tuesday, from 8 a.m. until time of service.

A rosary was prayed at 7 p.m. Monday in the funeral home.
