Video captures six beating one man

A man is recovering in a hospital after being beaten by six men on Frank’s Alley in Abbeville early Tuesday morning.
The fight was captured on a nearby surveillance video.
The video shows one man talking to the six individuals and then they began fighting. The man falls to the ground and six other men began kicking and hitting the individual.
One of the individuals jumped in the air and landed feet first on the individual’s chest and stomach. He did this twice as the person lay unconscious.
The Abbeville Police Department arrested Colt Turner earlier in the week for the fight. The fight occurred in front of the house where Turner lives.
Turner was charged with aggravated robbery and his bail was set at $125,000. He is still in the parish jail as of Friday.
Lt. David Hardy of the police department spoke to the victim in the hospital and he was able to get the name of Turner. The detectives are also working on getting the names of the five other individuals.
Lt. Hardy said one of the individuals is facing an attempted first degree murder charge.
“I was sicken by the effort of one individual,” said Lt. Hardy. “He jumped on him when he was unconscious. It looked like he was trying to kill him.”
