Jeanne Baswell Gremillion

Services for Mrs. Jeanne Baswell Gremillion will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, December 16, 2008 at the Marksville United Methodist Church in Marksville with Pastor Tony Ranero officiating. Burial will be in St. Joseph Mausoleum #2 in Marksville.

Mrs. Gremillion, 81, of Marksville, passed away at the Bailey House in Bunkie on Sunday, December 14, 2008.

She was preceded in death by her parents Brandy and Ola Baswell and husband, Richard "Dick" Gremillion.

Mrs. Gremillion was a active member of the Marksville United Methodist Church, Ladies Auxillary, and Marksville Chamber of Commerce. She and her husband owned Gremillion Appliance Center in downtown Marksville for many years.

Survivors include her daughters Guynn Gremillion Mayeux and husband Kenneth of Marksville; Beck Gremillion Harper and husband Jerry of Marksville, Martha Gremillion Powell and husband Ted of Pineville, Janie Gremillion and companion Mike Smith of Hessmer; ten grandchildren, Missy Bacon, Kristi Tamburo, Todd Harper, Allyson Marlowe, Brandon Lemoine, Amy Earles, Ashley Domingue, Kenny Mayeux, Josh Harper, and Sara Lucius and twenty four great grand-children.

Visitation will be on Monday, December 15, 2008 from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. and from 8 a.m. until shortly before time of service on Tuesday.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Marksville United Methodist Church.

Pallbearers for the service will be Brandon Lemoine, Todd Harper, Josh Harper, Brent Domingue, Digger Earles, and Tracy Alletag.
