Vermilion Sheriff’s Office arrests four in connection to camp burglaries

Three Vermilion Parish men and one female have been arrested and booked into the Vermilion Parish Correctional Center on Burglary charges.
Sheriff Mike Couvillon says that Ricky Miller w/m dob 2/05/84 of 25516 La. Hwy. 82 Kaplan, La., Wilson Hargrave w/m dob 10/24/87 of 17533 Dalton Rd. Kaplan, La. and Ashley Uriegas w/f dob 09/10/87 812 N. Lemaire Kaplan, La. have been arrested on Simple Burglary charge with bond set at 50,000.00 and Nathanael Kelley w/m dob 9/23/86 of 10014 Romules Rd. Kaplan, La. was arrested on Simple Burglary charge with bond set at 10,000.00.
The investigation into numerous camp burglaries in the Pecan Island area is ongoing and additional charges and arrest may be forthcoming.
Sheriff Couvillon says that detectives are in the process of recovering items taken from these burglaries and is asking anyone who may have purchased items such as TV’s, guns, clothing, and other electronics from these individuals in recent weeks to please contact the Vermilion Parish Criminal Investigations Division at 898-4403 as they may be in possession of stolen items.
