Vermilion Parish superintendent gets 'satisfactory' evaluation by board members

School Board members went behind closed doors for two hours to evaluate their superintendent.
Before the round-table evaluation on Tuesday, board members filled out evaluation forms and graded Superintendent Jerome Puyau on his job performance for the year.
During the executive session, each board member explained his or her evaluation of Puyau.
When they came out, School Board President Chris Gautreaux announced that the school board gave Puyau a “satisfactory” evaluation.
Puyau did not have a comment about his evaluation.
He has been the parish school superintendent for two years.
