Vermilion Parish Sheriff’s Office investigating theft of three lawn mowers
According to Vermilion Parish Sheriff Mike Couvillon, on September 25, 2015 deputies responded to a residence located off St. Elmo Road in Erath with regards to the theft of a utility trailer containing three commercial lawn mowers.
The items stolen are described as a 16’ Tiger trailer black in color with damage to the rear gate, a Snapper Pro Zero Turn mower with a 19 hp. Kawasaki motor, a Gravely Pro-turn 266 mower and a Gravely Pro-Turn 260 mower.
Sheriff Couvillon also says that sometime between Wednesday September 23, 2015 and Thursday September 24, 2015 a black utility trailer with a 60” Hustler mower was stolen from a residence located on La. Hwy. 339.
Sheriff Couvillon says that in one of the thefts detectives have been able to secure video surveillance of the suspect’s vehicle which appears to be a white extended cab or four-door pickup truck unknown make or model and are currently attempting to enhance those images.
