Vermilion Parish Narcotics Task Force arrests five
According to Sheriff Mike Couvillon and Chief of Police Tony Hardy, the Vermilion Parish Municipal Narcotics Task Force made the following arrests for narcotics related offenses within the parish.
James “JJ” Boudreaux, 42, was arrested for Possession of a Legend Drug without a Prescription, Possession of Schedule III(Lortab), Obstruction of Justice and Resisting Arrest as well as several outstanding narcotics offenses
Michael Pillette, 24, was arrested for Possession with Intent to Distribute Schedule I,(Synthetic Marijuana), Possession of Schedule II, (Adderall) and Possession of a Firearm in the Presence of a Controlled Dangerous Substance.
Salvador Brunet, 24, was arrested for Possession of Schedule I, (Synthetic Marijuana)
Kyle Taylor, 27, was arrested for Possession of Schedule I, (marijuana)
Krislyn Touchet, 17, was arrested for Possession with Intent to Distribute Schedule I, (marijuana), and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
Sheriff Couvillon and Chief Hardy would also like to applaud the concerned citizens of Vermilion Parish for their awareness and assistance in helping the Sheriff’s Office in fighting the war on illegal drugs.
