Union Parish shuts down Kaplan offense

The Kaplan Pirates could only get six first downs and 70 total yards en route to a 14-0 loss to Union Parish on the road Friday night.
The Pirates kept it close in the first half. It was 0-0 at the end of the first quarter and the Pirates got behind 7-0 at halftime. It stayed that way until the fourth period when Union Parish scored.
Tyson Broussard had only 34 yards on 17 carries for Kaplan. Kaylon Rudd had 18 yards on 8 totes for KHS.
In the air, Kaplan was not too successful, throwing for 10 yards.
