Two men die in explosion near White Lake

On October 16, 2015 at approximately 3:00pm recovery efforts by the Vermilion Parish Sheriff's Marine Division and La. Wildlife and Fisheries located the two victims missing from yesterday's boat explosion in White Lake.

Vermilion Parish Sheriff Mike Couvillon says the victims have been identified as Brandon Saul Taylor w/m of Lake Charles and John Dooley Hebert w/m from Egan.

The investigation is ongoing and is being conducted by the U.S. Coast Guard, any additional information requested should be obtained from U. S. Coast Guard.
