Sulphur man injured in accident north of Kaplan

For unknown reasons, Dwayne Hebert of Sulphur went off the road Monday afternoon at the intersection of La. Highway 13 and Matthew Road, north of Kaplan. Hebert’s vehicle flipped after going through the branches of a tree near the intersection. Acadian Air Med lifted Hebert from the scene to Lafayette General Medical Center. No further details were made available as of presstime.
