Rep. Hensgens receives high marks from multiple groups

Many Associations around Louisiana have published their 2015 legislator report cards, and State Representative Bob Hensgens, R-Abbeville, has received high marks and recognition from several.
Rep. Hensgens received a letter grade of B+ from the Louisiana Association of Educators (LAE), based on support for public education, educators, and students. He also received a letter grade of B+ from Americans for Prosperity (AFP) for his voting record on issues of tax increases. Rep. Hensgens received the Outstanding Family Advocate award, and a 100% from the Louisiana Family Forum (LFF) for supporting policies and programs that protect and promote families and traditional values in Louisiana.
In addition to these grades, Rep. Hensgens also received endorsement from the Louisiana Association of Business and Industry (LABI).
Rep. Hensgens said, “It is an honor to have my work during session recognized by such highly regarded organizations throughout the state. As always, I work for my constituents and for the state of Louisiana, and to me that means upholding the values of each of these Associations.”
