Kaplan hosts visitors from its twin city

Thirty five tourists from Kaplan’s twin city, Hannut, Belgium were welcomed at city hall last week.
The reception was the first event of a jam packed two week stay.
The families from Belgium will stay with host families living in Kaplan. The twin cities alternate hosting every two years.
The guests were treated to barbecue gatherings, tasting the local cuisine, along with shopping and sightseeing with exchange families before heading to New Orleans where they will set sail on a week-long cruise to Cozumel.
Kaplan and Hannut have been hosting families since 2000.
