Fourteen year old Kaplan youth missing

Kaplan police are asking for help in locating 14 year old Austin Mallet. Austin is 5’10”, 160 pound, hazel eyes and brown hair. He was last seen in a red truck with another teenage boy.

He was last seen yeterday around noon and has not returned home. Parents reported to police he is a runaway. Officers have checked all known friends and are still unable to locate the child.

From information officers have gatheedr on Mallet, it appears he is heading to Arizona.

Chief of Police Boyd Adams is asking for the public’s help in locating this teen. If anyone has information or has seen Mallet, they are asked to please call the Kaplan Police Department at 643-8600
to report the child’s whereabouts.
