In the Erath and Delcambre area, Chris Hebert will continue to be the school board member for District H.

He filled in the seat when Ricky Broussard resigned because of family issues.
Chris Hebert will be the school member until the next election in 2018.
Chris Hebert had 1,588 votes and Kristy Hebert had 1,530 votes.
Taylor Mencacci is the new alderman in Erath. He beat Mike Richard 470 votes to 431.
There will be a new mayor in Delcambre. Pam Blakely collected 466 votes (59 percent) to defeat incumbent Carol Broussard, who had 326 votes (41 percent). Broussard has served as mayor for 24 years.
Delcambre Aldermen District 1 race - Madison Saunier won by three votes, 87 votes to 84, over Amanda Thibodeaux.
The Delcambre Aldermen District 2 race - Sarah Trahan’s (71 percent) 138 votes topped Donald Shelvin Jr.’s (29 percent) 57 votes.
There will be a runoff for the U. S. Representative -- 3rd Congressional District seat. Both Scott Angelle and Captain Clay Higgins will face off in December.
Public Service Commissioner Scott Angelle, the Republican third-place finisher in last year’s governor’s race, was expected to easily reach the runoff for the open 3rd District U.S. House seat representing southwest and south central Louisiana.
