Beverly Baker, Vermilion Parish Tourist President

GUEYDAN - Beverly Baker was appointed to the Vermilion Parish Tourist Commission by the Vermilion Parish Policy in February of 2011, and will now be making her mark as the newly elected as President.
According to Baker the Vermilion Parish Tourist Commission is responsible for developing informational web sites, broachers and promoting the many attributes of our coastal parish which will help develop tourism in our bilingual parish. All of this plays an important part in Vermilion Parish’s economical growth.
Baker plans on continuing the work and is hoping to the commission grow can help with the economical growth of Vermilion Parish which in turns help Louisiana.
Baker is a longtime resident of Gueydan, and helped organize the Gueydan Chamber of Commerce. She is the local Farm Bureau agent and is married to Roy Baker.
