The Volunteer of the Year Award was won by Louisiana Cattle Festival Board Member Janice Broussard Meaux for her outstanding work as festival volunteer for several years.
The Website www.louisianacattlefestival.org which also has won in the past is designed and maintained by Abbeville Attorney and Hearing Officer, Gale Luquette, who also serves as Festival Vice President and Attorney.
“The efforts of these staff members, as well as the entire Board and Staff of the Louisiana Cattle Festival have helped to make it the success that it has become,” concluded Plaisance.
The 2016 Louisiana Cattle Festival, with its outstanding lineup of entertainment and activities, will be held October 13-16, 2016 in downtown Abbeville.
