Abbeville's Koryn reaches Top 10
Country singer and coach Blake Shelton nailed it when he welcomed Abbeville’s Koryn Hawthorne to the Top 10 of The Voice.
Those words were said Monday night after the 17-year-old sang “Stronger (What doesn’t kill you), originally song by Kelly Clarkson.
Shelton’s words became reality Tuesday night on The Voice when America voted her into the Top 10.
She is expected to sing again Monday night on the NBC TV show.
Friends and fans are able to give Koryn words of encouragement on her Facebook page. As long as Koryn keeps winning, she remains in Los Angeles where the show takes place. She left for California at the end of February with her family.
Koryn posted on her Facebook page Wednesday morning, “Last night was hard.”
Two contestants were eliminated Mia Z (Team Pharrell) and Brian Johnson (Team Adam).
Team Pharrell has two contestants left - Koryn and Sawyer Fredericks.
Team Christina and Team Blake each have three left. Team Adam has two remaining.
