Abbeville Police looking for two allegedly involved in crash of stolen vehicle

The Abbeville Police Department investigated a single-vehicle crash on LA Hwy. 338 where a stolen vehicle went off the roadway causing the vehicle to overturn.
The incident occurred on Tuesday, July 14.
A juvenile passenger in the vehicle was found at the scene and transported to a Lafayette hospital.
Two other passengers were seen running from the crash scene. These two suspects have been identified as Anthony Levy Jr. and Denzel Maze, both of Abbeville.
A warrant has been obtained for Denzel Maze for Illegal Possession of Stolen Things. Warrants have also been obtained for the arrest of Anthony Levy Jr., who officers were advised was the driver of the vehicle, for Hit & Run and Illegal Possession of Stolen Things. At last contact with the family, the juvenile passenger was still recovering in a local hospital.
