Abbeville Police looking for suspect in connection to late-night shooting

The Abbeville Police Department is working a late-night shooting that occurred Tuesday at the Live Oak Manor Apartment Complex, located at 1610 Martin Luther King Dr.
According to information received by police, two subjects began shooting guns at one another while inside the complex. One of the subjects sustained a gunshot wound to the left shoulder area and was transported to Abbeville General Hospital. The subject was treated for the gunshot wound and was shipped to another medical facility in Lafayette. The subject is listed in critical condition at this time.
The Abbeville Police Department is searching for the second subject, Rendrick Nunez, 21, of Abbeville. Nunez is wanted for Attempted Second Degree Murder, Illegal Use of a Firearm and Obstruction of Justice.
