Abbeville Police investigate theft of wallet at Wal-Mart

On Dec. 8, 2015, the Abbeville Police Department began investigating a theft which occurred at Wal-Mart in Abbeville.
The victim stated to officers that he left his wallet at one of the registers and when he returned the wallet was gone.
Officers reviewed video surveillance cameras and observed an unknown black male subject pick up the victim’s wallet and put it in his pocket. The unknown subject was accompanied by an unknown black female. The two subjects left the store in a grey colored sports utility vehicle.
