Abbeville Police arrest man in connection to drive-by shooting

Henderson faces multiple charges

On the morning of June 23, 2015 the Abbeville Police Department arrested Kinnie Henderson, 18), of Abbeville on numerous warrants.
Abbeville Police say Henderson is the alleged shooter in a drive-by shooting that took place on St Peter Street in Abbeville on May 29.
Henderson was arrested and booked on the following charges:
• Attempted 2nd-Degree Murder
• Assault by Drive-by Shooting
• Felon in Possession of a Firearm
• Public Bribery
• Intimidation of a Witness
• Failure to Register as a Sex Offender
• Resisting an Officer
• Misrepresentation during Booking
• Parole Violation
Henderson was booked into the Abbeville Police Department and transported to the Vermilion Parish Correctional Center where he awaits bond.
