Abbeville has a top LSU grad
BATON ROUGE – Caroline Broussard of Abbeville is one of the Tiger Twelve Class of 2015.
The LSU Office of the Dean of Students recently named the Tiger Twelve Class of 2015 at a ceremony held on Saturday, April 25, at 3 p.m. in the rotunda of the LSU Business Education Complex.
Broussard, who graduated from ESA, majored in communication disorders and a minor in business administration.
While at LSU, Broussard worked as a captain of the LSU tour guides to introduce prospective students to the LSU campus. She was an active member of Kappa Kappa Gamma sorority, the Greek Board of Directors and the PanHellenic Executive Council, where she managed the budget, handled disciplinary issues with members and mentored recruitment counselors.
Broussard was a member of the Leadership LSU Class of 2015 and served on the Division of Student Life and Enrollment Advisory Board in her last two years on campus.

Tiger Twelve is an honor that has been presented to 12 seniors by the Office of the Dean of Students since 2003. Students selected as members of the Tiger Twelve are current, full-time students, who have maintained at least a 2.5 GPA and best exemplified the seven tenets outlined in the LSU Commitment to Community, a statement of LSU’s basic principles as an academic community. It was crafted by a committee of students, faculty and staff in 1995 and states the expectations for each LSU community member.
This year’s recognition coincides with the 20th anniversary of the LSU Commitment to Community.
