Abbeivlle's Koryn expects to have busy summer

Koryn Hawthorne is expected to have a busy summer, which is great news for the 17-year-old singing sensation.
“It will be a busy, busy summer,” said Hawthorne. “It beats sitting at home.”
Hawthorne and her mother Summers Simon are expected to go to Los Angeles this weekend in hopes of working on some kind of record deal. Hawthorne said she could not give details on what kind of deal she is hoping for.
“Music will continue,” promised Koryn. “There are a lot of good things that I can not talk about right now. Just know that music is coming.”
Last week Koryn and her mother were in Cleveland, Ohio. Koryn sang the National Anthem for an NBA playoff game. Unfortunately for Acadiana viewers, her singing was not broadcasted on TV. They went to a commercial instead.
While there, she got to see Cleveland star LeBron James and other NBA stars. She also got to see former NBA star Shaquille O’Neal.
When asked if there was a chance she could sing the National Anthem in this week’s NBA Finals, she said it could be possible.
