Chez Elles, a women’s civic club in Kaplan, installed the new officers for the 2015-2016 year. They include Mindy Herpin - treasurer, Sonia Frith - recording secretary, Lisa Broussard – vice president, Laura LeBouef – president, Debby Meaux – assistant treasurer, and Holly Frederick – corresponding secretary.
Chez Elles was organized in December of 1946 with the first meeting being held in the home of Grace Hardee. The object of Chez Elles is mental and spiritual growth through fellowship, study and good deeds.
With the generosity of the members and fund raising, Chez Elles continues each year to make a difference in the lives of others in the community by donating to many organizations in the community and offers an annual scholarship to a KHS graduate.
